Masher and Spug ran out of the bank, chased by ten security guards, two big dogs and the clang of alarm bells. "Quick! Into the car!" cried Masher. But Jalopy was gone.

Mrs Ethel Thomas wins a beautiful shiny red car in a competition and calls the car Jalopy. But Mrs Thomas can't drive, so the car goes nowhere until one day bank-robbers Spug and Masher steal Jalopy to be their getaway car...
